Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid Course

Join us for this community class to learn how to confidently intervene in life-threatening emergencies. This course is held through the American Red Cross (ARC) by an approved instructor. This is a blended learning course, meaning that you will have to complete an online course prior to attending the in-person skills session. Adult and pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid will be covered in this course.

Course Policies per the American Red Cross:

Minimum Age: 13+

Prerequisites to In-Person Course Requirements:

Online work completed 2 days prior to the start date of class.
Proof of online work completion is REQUIRED at start of class.
Minimal physical standards - standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, and moving between positions.
Willingness/ability to perform skills during in-person class.
Must be 13+ to enroll in this course AND be able to meet the strength requirement to perform adequate chest compressions (at least 2 inches deep on an adult mannequin).

Notes:

All online work will be sent to the email address provided via your registration.
Incomplete online work cancels the in-person course and forfeits course fee.
Unwillingness/inability to perform one or more skill(s) during the in-person class will result in not meeting the certification requirement
Participants must meet the objectives/standards outlined above and listed by the CPR Instructor the day of in-person course.
Course fees are forfeit for participants that do not meet the above required prerequisites.

No refunds or prorated refunds will be issued except at the sole discretion of the JEA. Refunds will only be issued for programs that are canceled due to an insufficient number of participants.
